C********D (verified owner) – :
This was easy to make and when you need them the instructions are clear, but again the sizing is overly generous – I made it smaller than my usual size and there was still way too much ease so it’s kind of shapeless. Fortunately I made a wearable muslin before risking any special fabric as I decided that the design wasn’t for me. That said, it’s a good pattern, it’s well drafted and written (hence the 4 stars) and if you want a fairly loose fitting shirt dress or blouse then it’s fine, but the end result for me is just a bit meh. It seems like the designs aren’t as flattering or appealing as they used to be and are skewing towards a more shapeless end result which is a pity.
